A special feature and unique quality of these trainings is that the most experienced professionals in this field, i.e. members of the disciplinary bodies, have taken part in designing the training programme and curriculum.
In order for the trainings to be interactive and in line with contemporary methodological approaches, they cover three case studies which have been made up on the basis of real disciplinary cases. Thus, the trainees have the opportunity to put themselves in the shoes of the disciplinary bodies and consequently understand the mechanism of identifying and determining the nature of disciplinary responsibility.
The training curriculum comprises the following topics: the foundations of disciplinary responsibility of judges according to national legislation, an overview of international legal framework and compliance of domestic laws with it, objectives and purposes of disciplinary proceedings, which includes status and rights of judges against whom the proceedings are taken.
