The role of project experts is the key to the achievement of set targets. In order to maximize the results of its work, the Project has so far engaged 37 national and international experts of various backgrounds, with extensive working experience in the judiciary and public administration. They have been working on development of activities, in cooperation with the representatives of the High Judicial Council and the Administrative Office, Ministry of of Justice, courts, Judicial Academy and working groups supported by the Project.
The activities undertaken by the experts towards improving the judicial system include: analysis of legislation and development of recommendations for improvement of the legislative framework; development of strategic documents in accordance with the European best practice and standards, as well as the requirements of the Action Plan under Chapter 23 and of Draft Strategy for Judicial Development; development of training curricula and implementation of trainings for professional development of the staff in judicial institutions; development of contemporary information systems for the needs of the judiciary; improvement of specific areas, such as judges' discipline and ethics, programme budget planning, etc. The implementation of activities follows the highest professional standards that bring together theoretical knowledge and practical application.
